**Job Title: CNC Mill Operator** Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated CNC Mill Operator for a 3rd shift opportunity. You will be rotating between the Bushing/Grind and Mill/Lathe departments. This role involves working 10-hour days from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM. Based on business needs, this position may transition to a direct role at the end of a six-month contract, with the possibility of an increase upon transition, though this is not guaranteed. Responsibilities + Rotate between Bushing/Grind and Mill/Lathe departments during the third shift. + Operate CNC machines, including loading and unloading metal parts. + Use micrometers and calipers for precise measurements. + Conduct grinding and buffing tasks with precision and attention to detail. + Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Essential Skills + At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing as a machine operator within the last 3-5 years. + Ability to read and use micrometers and calipers. + Mechanically inclined with experience in machine operation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with CNC mill and lathe, automated grinding, and manual grinding is a plus. + Familiarity with Acme, Sheffield gauges, Cincinnati, and Norton machines is beneficial. + Attention to detail and reliability are crucial. + Experience from a plastics setting is acceptable as training is provided. The facility operates 24/5 with occasional Saturday work. Attendance is crucial, and reliability is expected. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Millington, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
