Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a CNC/Mill Operator 1st Shift to join their team. As a CNC/Mill Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting precision machining operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** CNC/Mill Operator 1st Shift
**Location:** DuBois, PA

**What's the Job?**
+ Machine Setup and Operation: Loading and unloading materials, setting up tools and fixtures, and calibrating machines for optimal performance.
+ Programming and Input: Translating blueprints into machine instructions (G-code) and entering them into the CNC system.
+ Quality Control: Inspecting finished parts using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and adherence to specifications.
+ Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operation.
+ Safety Compliance: Following safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
**What's Needed?**
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and understand geometric dimensions and tolerances.
+ Understanding CNC programming languages (like G-code) and the ability to write, edit, and troubleshoot programs.
+ Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC milling machines, including tool changes, speed and feed adjustments, and workholding techniques.
+ Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and the ability to accurately measure machined parts.
+ Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process.
