CNC Mill Machinist
**Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist** **Job Description** We are looking for an experienced CNC setup mill machinist to join a high-quality precision machining state-of-the-art job shop. The ideal candidate will have brief setup experience, proficiency in different tool changes and offsets, and the ability to edit G&M code. Our facility specializes in vertical and horizontal milling, turning, grinding, and Wire EDM manufacturing. **Responsibilities** + Collaborate with the Mill Manager and Engineering Department, demonstrating strong teamwork skills. + Produce precision CNC machined parts by setting up, troubleshooting programs, and operating CNC Milling Centers, including 3 to 5 axis machines. + Maintain accurate record keeping and documentation. + Troubleshoot processes, adjust, and reprogram controls as needed. + Monitor tool wear and ensure quality assurance throughout the production process. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of CNC mill experience, including setup experience. + 3+ years of experience with G&M Code. + Proficiency in operating CNC mills, including Matsuura, GibbsCam, and Fanuc systems. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with vertical and horizontal mills. + Experience with live tooling and sub-spindle operations. + Knowledge of machine operating and troubleshooting. **Why Work Here?** Join a state-of-the-art facility that offers great benefits and a focus on prototype work. The facility employs over 100 employees, all on the first shift, and offers opportunities to work closely with Tool Crib attendants and the Engineering departments. Our shop is one of the most state-of-the-art facilities around, with regular upgrades to machinery including Matsuura 5 Axis, Kitamura, and YCM machines, as well as Gibbscam and Solidworks software. We support industries such as Military, Aerospace, Medical, and Computers (Data Storage). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fridley, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
