**Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist** Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join a prototype machine shop located in Saginaw, Michigan. This position is for the 1st shift and involves working in a clean, temperature-controlled environment. Responsibilities + Set up CNC machines and perform multiple setups per shift. + Conduct first piece inspections and make necessary tool changes. + Read and interpret blueprints and G&M codes. + Use inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers for precision checks. Essential Skills + 5 years of experience in CNC Mill operations. + Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machinery. + Ability to perform own setups and inspections. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Programming in G&M Code. + Experience with Mazak machinery. + Working knowledge of 1018 carbon steel and aluminum. + Familiarity with low volume work, multiple setups, and blueprint reading/GD&T. + Experience in manufacturing fixtures and prototype low volume parts. Work Environment The work environment is a machine shop that is extremely clean, with air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter. The position is for the 1st shift, running from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the option for overtime on Fridays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saginaw, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $23.00/hr.
