As a CNC Mill Machinist, you will be instrumental in operating and adjusting CNC milling machines to create precise parts that drive productivity and uptime for manufacturers worldwide.
ResponsibilitiesOperate machinery safely and adhere to all established safety policies and procedures.Work from drawings and written instructions to create parts.Set up and operate CNC machines, performing diversified and complex operations.Write and edit programs to meet part tolerance requirements.Provide technical leadership and training to less experienced machinists.Run multiple machines simultaneously and handle changeovers.Write basic programs and troubleshoot errors in CNC programs.Set up jobs, run jobs, and inspect parts throughout the production run.Perform external setup tasks for the next job while the machine is running.Use basic math and problem-solving skills.Select tools, spindle speeds, and tool feed rates based on materials.Inspect workpieces to ensure they meet tolerance requirements.Replace cutting tools as necessary and establish proper tool offsets.Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.Advise supervisor of any conduct that may violate rules, policies, and procedures.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC mill machines.Proficiency in using precision measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Experience in performing full setups and editing programs using G and M codes.Ability to read blueprints and setup sheets.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the machining industry supplying to automotive or aerospace sectors.Ability to read MasterCam prints.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The facility is climate-controlled, organized, and clean, providing a comfortable and efficient work environment. Positions are available for 1st shift (5am-3:30pm) and 2nd shift (3:30pm-2am) from Monday to Thursday, with overtime opportunities on Friday and Saturday.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $69870.00/yr.
