**Job Description**
As a Machinist, you will be responsible for performing machining tasks with both multi-axis lathes and Haas mills. You will need to be open to working on both types of machines, although prior experience with only one type is acceptable to start. The position requires setting up machines with the proper tooling, inspecting parts, and performing minor program editing.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up machines with proper tooling and perform tool changes.
+ Inspect parts using dial micrometers and digital calipers.
+ Edit minor programs as needed.
+ Perform repeat jobs, ranging from short runs to long runs lasting 3-4 days.
+ Conduct at least 2-3 setups per week.
+ Document and inspect parts using iPads, height gages, micrometers, and calipers.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ years' recent experience machining with mills or lathes.
+ Comfortable setting up machines with proper tooling.
+ Experience with multi-axis lathes is a major plus.
+ Experience with Haas mills is a major plus.
+ Experience with setups is beneficial.

**Work Environment**
The machine shop employs 10-12 individuals and is part of a larger company with close to 100 employees. It is clean, organized, and has its own dedicated area in the building. The main products manufactured include electronic and mechanical drive technology and control systems.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
