Our team thrives on collaboration, quality, and a laid-back atmosphere where your skills are valued and your voice is heard. **What You’ll Do** As a CNC Mill Machinist, you’ll take the lead in setting up and operating Okuma Horizontal Mills with Fanuc controls, or CNC lathes, to produce high-precision parts. You’ll be hands-on with everything from blueprint interpretation to in-process inspections, ensuring every component meets exacting standards. **Your Day-to-Day Will Include:** + Setting up and running Okuma CNC Horizontal Mills or CNC lathes + Reading and interpreting complex blueprints and GD&T specs + Loading programs, adjusting offsets, and editing G-code/M-code at the machine + Performing in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools + Monitoring machine performance and making real-time adjustments + Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues **What You Bring** + 2+ years of CNC setup experience in a job shop environment + Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls, G-code, and M-code + Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation + Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools + Mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities **Bonus Points If You Have:** + Experience with both mill and lathe operations + Familiarity with Okuma OSP controls + A passion for continuous improvement and craftsmanship **Why You’ll Love Working Here** + Family-Owned & Operated– We treat our team like family. + Relaxed, Supportive Culture– No micromanaging, just mutual respect. + Stability & Growth– We’ve been around for 30+ years and we’re still growing. + Hands-On Work– You’ll see the impact of your skills every day.
