CNC Mill Machinist
**Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our precision machine shop dedicated to producing parts for the medical device market. You will set up and operate CNC Mills on parts requiring incredibly tight tolerances. Depending on your skill level, you will handle a range of tasks from long-run production to mid-run setups across multiple machines, with the potential for advancement into prototype work. Regular in-process inspections will be performed using standard inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and microscopes. You will also be responsible for deburring your own parts under a microscope. **Why Work Here?** We offer direct placements with daily overtime pay after 8 hours, stacking on top of shift differentials. Employees can earn tuition reimbursement up to $10,000 per year after six months of employment, and have the opportunity to enter our apprentice program, which lasts up to two years and provides comprehensive training in machining, machine setup, quality, finishing, programming, and engineering. Successful completion of the apprentice program allows application to the journeyman program, with expert status and higher pay. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate CNC Mills on high-precision medical device parts. + Perform long-run production and mid-run setups on multiple machines. + Conduct frequent in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and microscopes. + Deburr parts under a microscope. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience running CNC Mill with knowledge of Fanuc controls and G&M codes. + 1+ years of setup experience including basic setups, tool changes, and offsets. **Skills & Qualifications** + Candidates with experience at RMS, RMS Surgical, Donatelle, Heraeus, Graco, or Integer are preferred. + Knowledge of blueprint reading and vertical mill operations. **Work Environment** Our precision machine shop is extremely clean and process-oriented, focusing specifically on parts for the medical device market. The work involves extensive documentation due to medical industry standards. The machinists are required to understand detailed setup processes for longer run production. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $111000.00/yr.
