**Job Title: CNC Mill Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our team and contribute to our dynamic sheet metal fabrication job shop. The role involves operating Haas CNC Mills and ensuring high-quality production of a variety of parts for the sheet metal industry. **Responsibilities** + Operate Haas CNC Mills efficiently and effectively. + Understand tooling requirements, speeds, and feeds for general machining applications. + Read and edit G & M Code as necessary. + Interpret blueprints, job cards, and work instructions to determine product specifications, dimensions, and tolerances. + Measure in-process and completed products to verify conformance to specifications using calipers, fixtures, or tape measures. + Complete routine paperwork and job tracking, including job travelers, inspection sample plans, and JobBoss. + Adhere to general safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. + Maintain a clean work area utilizing 6S practices. + Set up machines independently and perform minor program editing. + Follow the process of receiving a print, gathering materials, setting up tools and vices, downloading software, and manufacturing parts. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in operating Haas CNC Mills. + Ability to read and make edits with G & M Code. + Experience in interpreting blueprints, job cards, and work instructions. + Familiarity with using measuring instruments like calipers and tape measures. + Knowledge of general safety practices. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + At least 1 year of experience in setting up a Mill (HAAS). + Experience with HAAS VHF-3 and VHF-4 machines. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned business that values craftsmanship and quality in the sheet metal industry. Team members are expected to maintain a clean workspace and adhere to safety protocols. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
