**CNC Mazak Mills Operator** **Job Description** This role involves planning machining operations by reviewing work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters. You will be responsible for managing stock inventory, programming mills and lathes, setting up equipment, and ensuring precise machining operations. Adherence to safety and quality standards is essential. **Responsibilities** + Plan machining operations by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, drawings, and machining parameters. + Manage stock inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying receipts. + Program mills and lathes by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and switches. + Set up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers. + Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position. + Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces, adhering to international standards. + Maintain specifications by observing operations such as drilling, grooving, and cutting, taking measurements, and troubleshooting. + Ensure safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. + Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs. + Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management. **Essential Skills** + Experience as a manual machinist or CNC machinist. + Proficiency in CNC mill programming and operation. + Ability to set up and operate CNC Mazak Mills. + Familiarity with blueprint reading and Mazak machinery. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school graduate or trade school is preferred. + Experience in manual machining. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance, along with Paid Time Off and Holidays.
