We are seeking a detail -oriented CNC Manufacturing Engineer to support high-volume manufacturing. This role will focus in applying knowledge of manufacturing methods, engineering theory, and problem-solving techniques to improve production efficiencies, material flow, equipment performance, and related processes. The successful candidate will work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to improve safety, quality, productivity and reduce costs.
To succeed in this role, you will be highly driven to:
+ Trouble shoot and program CNC routing machines
+ Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models
+ Design, develop, and implement control systems to improve production cycle times, product quality, equipment performance, down-time reductions, and process automation.
+ Identify, plan, and lead cross-functional operations improvement projects.
+ Design testing methods and calculate process capabilities to establish standards or validate process requirements.
+ Analyze process performance data to identify trends, reduce process variation, and improve performance.
+ Create part setup, fixturing, machining strategy, order of operations, tool selection, speed/feed process parameter selections, etc.
+ Create or advise with work holding design and implementation.
+ Create part routings, manufacturing instructions, and documentation for parts.
+ Provide technical support for daily production as needed.
Skills and experience to thrive in this role:
+ +5 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Bachelor's degree in a related technical field such as Mechanical Engineering or Plastics Engineering or similar experience.
+ Demonstrated success working in and/or leading cross functional teams
+ Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics.
+ Strong organizational and planning skills and the demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects .

HARTING USA offers an attractive total compensation package and employee benefits, including:
Compensation
+ HARTING's Total Compensation Structure includes a Base Salary and Bonus Percentage.
+ Competitive base salary: $80,000 - $100,000 (commensurate with experience, subject to change dependent on physical location).
+ This role is eligible for a 5% discretionary annual bonus.
