Compensation: $72,000 per year + PAID Relocation

 

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC Maintenance Repair Technician to join our  clients team in Syracuse. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in CNC machinery and demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Perform routine maintenance and repair on CNC machines, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues in CNC machinery and implement effective solutions promptly. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize unexpected machine failures. Collaborate with the production team to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks effectively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs conducted. Stay updated with the latest advancements in CNC technology and continuously improve skills and knowledge. Assist in training operators on proper machine operation and basic troubleshooting techniques.

 

Qualifications:

 

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC maintenance or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade Experience with ladder logic circuit diagrams, industrial motor control schematics, and blueprint reading. PLC Proven experience in CNC machinery maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Flexibility to work various shifts and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed. Must be willing to work second shift.
