We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team for the night shift. The role involves setting up and operating CNC machining centers, as well as manual lathe and milling centers. You will be expected to adjust tool and fixture offsets to meet documented material tolerances and read and interpret work instructions and product/component drawings accurately. Precision in using measuring equipment is essential, and maintaining a clean and serviced work area is a must.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machining centers and manual lathe and milling centers.Adjust tool and fixture offsets to achieve documented material tolerances.Read and interpret work instructions and product/component drawings to determine required dimensions and tolerances.Follow work order instructions and accurately record task times.Use precision measuring equipment to check parts in accordance with engineering documents.Keep work area and machines clean and serviced regularly.Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills5 – 10 years machining experience in moderate to high volume production environments.2 - 5 years programming experience preferred, with MasterCam experience being a plus.Experience in setting up, operating, and adjusting both manual and CNC lathe machining.Ability to inspect parts using micrometers, gage pins, thread gages, digital/analog indicators, surface plates, calipers, and other tools.Proficiency in reading and comprehending production Bill of Materials and production orders.Ability to use production drawings and instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work under pressure without causing disruptions.

Work Environment
This position requires working the night shift from 10pm to 6:30am, Monday through Friday. The work environment is professional, supporting both CNC and manual machining operations. Dress code is professional and safety-oriented.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
