Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The role involves operating both multi-axis lathes and Haas mills. While prior experience with both machines is not required, candidates should be willing to work with both. This position demands experience in machine setup, part inspection, and minor program editing.
ResponsibilitiesPerform machining tasks using multi-axis lathes and Haas mills.Set up machines with the appropriate tooling and tool changes.Inspect parts using dial micrometers, digital calipers, and height gauges.Conduct minor program editing.Complete both short and long production runs, performing at least 2-3 setups per week.Document work using iPads.Essential Skills1+ years of recent experience with mills or lathes.Comfortable with machine setup and proper tooling.Experience with multi-axis lathes is a major plus.Experience with Haas mills is a major plus.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with blueprint reading.Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The machine shop is part of a larger company that employs close to 100 people, with 10-12 dedicated employees in the machine area. The facility is clean, organized, and equipped for manufacturing electronic and mechanical drive technology and control systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
