Responsible for all aspects of set-up and operation of CNC Machines and other machines as needed. Monitors machine, tooling, and cutting fluid levels. Reviews samples, drawings, or instructions to understand specifications of output. Takes measurements and marks material for cutting or shaping. Plans the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job. Monitors output to ensure consistency with specifications and discards defects. Ensures that the lubrication/coolant tanks are filled and chip buckets are emptied as necessary. Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.

Work Environment
1st shift: 6-2:30. The Machinist interacts with historic machinery throughout the facility, which often involves proximity to heat, noise, debris, overhead cranes, and other potentially dangerous equipment. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
