Cnc Machinist
Job Title: CNC MachinistJob Description

We are looking for skilled CNC Operators to run CNC mills, perform offsets and tool changes, read blueprints, and interpret G&M codes. The role involves taking precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other equipment. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for manufacturing parts in accordance with customer specifications and ensuring optimal and efficient equipment operation to meet company objectives.

ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machines, including Samsung and Haas, with Fanuc controls.Perform tooling and insert changes, as well as programming tool offsets.Use basic math to perform calculations and ensure accurate measurements.Utilize various measurement equipment such as dial calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.Work independently while also demonstrating productivity in a team environment.Ensure production of high-quality parts by adhering to processes and maintaining compliance with print specifications.Communicate effectively with Plant Manager and Department Lead for instructions.Adhere to company policies and escalate nonconformance issues to the Quality Manager.Understand and utilize the company's quality management system, including ISO requirements.Ensure calibration and serviceability of tools and measuring devices for customer parts compliance.Maintain safe operations by following safety procedures and workplace rules.Contribute positively to team morale and demonstrate ownership and enjoyment of work.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in CNC mill machining production.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with Samsung and Haas CNC machines with Fanuc controls.Proficiency in operating multiple machines, including overhead and jib cranes.Safety consciousness and ability to communicate effectively with others.Understanding of various measurement equipment including dial calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.Strong math skills and ability to record measurements accurately onto inspection reports.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent.Preferred: Two-year certificate in machine trades.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This is a first shift position with working hours from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Friday. Some overtime is available. The work environment is focused on safety and precision, ensuring adherence to workplace rules and procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
