Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team and contribute to the fabrication and machining of specialty parts for engineered products. The successful candidate will operate CNC milling machines, manual mills, and manual engine lathes to create high-quality components while adhering to engineering specifications.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling machines, manual mills (Bridgeport), and manual engine lathes.Machine, fabricate, and assist with sub-assembly of low-volume specialty parts.Independently work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and sketches to hold close tolerances.Collaborate with engineers and designers on fixture setup, tooling choices, manufacturability, and prototype iterations.Use precision measurement tools to verify quality and maintain dimensional accuracy.Work with various materials including stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and plastics.Maintain a clean and organized shop environment, following safety and quality procedures.Participate in integrating new machining equipment as capabilities expand.Essential Skills
3–5 years of machining or manufacturing experience preferred.Proficiency with manual lathes, drill presses, and manual milling machines.Experience with Quality Control, precision measurement tools, and inspection methods.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and tolerancing requirements.Strong communication skills and familiarity with MS Excel / MS Word.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and in small engineering teams.Additional Skills & Qualifications
