We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with a strong experience in CNC machining, capable of operating, setting up, and program editingThe position is on the 1st shift from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - FridayThere is potential for overtimeThe position involves machining various materials from plastics to metalsThe role is based in a newly renovated facility equipped with state-of-the-art machineryJob Responsibilities
Operate and set up CNC machines, including 4 Haas mills and 4 Haas lathesProgram editing and downloading programs to machinesGet tooling and set up fixturesPerform dry runs of programs and make necessary edits after the first pieceWork with 2 and 3 axis machining, with future upgrades to 4 and 5 axisLead a team of machinists, potentially taking on leadership responsibilitiesEssential Skills
3 years of experience operating Mill/Lathe 3 axis machinesProficiency in blueprint reading and GD&TExperience with Fanuc ControlsAbility to perform full setup of CNC lathe or mill 3 axisSkill in downloading programs and making necessary G&M code ediJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of AUBURN HILLS, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
