As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating both milling and lathe machines daily, performing CNC machining operations on plastic materials such as seals. Your tasks will include calling up and loading programs into the machining center, changing collets and tooling, making necessary adjustments to programs, and reading blueprints of work orders. You will ensure the dimensions and tolerances of produced parts are correct and make offset adjustments to keep products in print. Additionally, you will be expected to operate other cell equipment and processes.

Work EnvironmentThe facility offers a very clean environment, with heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. You will work in a cell-based environment, running 1-2 machines, and stand at the machine constantly performing setups and operations. The work schedule includes a 1st shift from 6 am to 3:30 pm and a 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 1 am, with training conducted during the 1st shift. You will work 9 hours Monday through Thursday and 4 hours on Fridays, with additional overtime available on Fridays. No weekend work is required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
