**Job Title: CNC Machinist**
**Job Description**
+ We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with a strong background in CNC machining, capable of operating, setting up, and program editing
+ The position is on the 1st shift from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
+ There is potential for overtime
+ The position involves machining various materials from plastics to metals
+ The role is based in a newly renovated facility equipped with state-of-the-art machinery
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Operate and set up CNC machines, including 4 Haas mills and 4 Haas lathes
+ Program editing and downloading programs to machines
+ Get tooling and set up fixtures
+ Perform dry runs of programs and make necessary edits after the first piece
+ Work with 2 and 3 axis machining, with future upgrades to 4 and 5 axis
+ Lead a team of machinists, potentially taking on leadership responsibilities
**Essential Skills**
+ 3 years of experience operating Mill/Lathe 3 axis machines
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T
+ Experience with Fanuc Controls
+ Ability to perform full setup of CNC lathe or mill 3 axis
+ Skill in downloading programs and making necessary G&M code edits
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
