CNC Machinist

Direct Placement$22-$26/hr+ OT available

Job Description

This role is a CNC Machinist position. A flexible work schedule is available, allowing for an earlier start if needed. The shop operates with high volume and precision, producing small parts with tolerances of (+/-) 10-20 microns using various types and thicknesses of steel.

Responsibilities

Attend daily meetings to understand shift requirements and assigned workstations.Manage up to three CNC machines simultaneously.Perform up to eight or nine tool changes per day across the machines.Load CNC machines, pull programs, and make minor program edits as needed.Conduct quality checks with micrometers and calipers every 300-400 parts.Store parts in bins and prepare them for daily shipment to customers.

Essential Skills

2+ years of experience on CNC Machines, including Screw Machines or Mills.2+ years of experience in reading blueprints.2+ years of experience in making edits to existing programs.Experience working with smaller components and tight tolerances of +/- 25 within 100 microns.

Work Environment

The facility is clean and air-conditioned atmosphere. Employees are provided with personal workstations where they can personalize their space to enhance comfort and efficiency.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $54080.00/yr.

Pay for Skills program. This program gives employees the opportunity to complete courses and increase their hourly wage. Course work needs to be done on the employee’s own time and after a Home Competency is completed, there are 5 more courses employees can complete, getting a $.50 increase upon completion of each course outside of the Home Competency.\n\nAll benefits but 401k are effective on the start date, and he will be eligible to participate in the 401k plan on the first month proceeding. I attached our Benefit Summary/Rates in case he wants to review.
