**Description** This position will perform duties to set up and operate a number of different CNC machine tools to perform a wide range of turning, drilling, milling, tapping, or resistance spot welding operations on precision machined components in a work-cell environment. Follow quality and safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition. The operation has DMG Mori, Haas and Okuma machines. **Job Functions** Follow process sheets, blueprints, and written/verbal instructions. Set up machines, tooling, and chuck jaws as needed. (4-5 set ups daily) Operate CNC equipment and make program/offset adjustments. Troubleshoot issues and ensure parts meet quality standards. Train junior machinists and support team problem‑solving. Inspect own work and, when required, the work of others. Operate multiple machines and rotate between work centers. Support new product development and continuous improvement. Enter required data into the ERP system. Load/unload parts up to 25 lbs. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Downers Grove, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $34.00/hr.
