Job Title: Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist responsible for setting up, editing, programming, and operating mills and lathes. The role involves performing first-piece inspections and maintaining tight tolerances of .0001 +/-. This position requires working 48 hours per week, with the option to work either the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday or the 2nd shift from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM Monday through Thursday.
Responsibilities
Set up, edit, and program mills and lathes.Operate machinery efficiently and perform first-piece inspections.Maintain tight tolerances of .0001 +/-.Ensure precision machining work is performed to industry standards.Essential Skills
Hands-on experience in a machine shop performing setup, operation, and programming of mills and lathes.Experience with lathe setup and operation.Proficiency in working with G&M codes.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
Work in a small, air-conditioned, family-owned shop with a clean environment and diverse machinery, including mills, lathes, EDM, grinders, and manual equipment. The primary focus is on precision machining for the Aerospace Industry. The dress code requires work pants and steel-toed boots.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
