Daily assignments in the milling department will generally include setting up and operating 3-axis Haas milling and inspecting machined components. A successful candidate will have experience in the aerospace industry making tooling and fixturing and are comfortable setting up their own jobs. Responsibilities:Operate Haas CNC equipment for dimensional inspectionOperate Fusion 360 or MasterCam programs to inspect complex partsApprove or reject parts based on tight-tolerance aerospace specificationsRead blueprints and technical documentation to determine inspection criteriaPerform dimensional checks using micrometers, calipers, and gagesQualifications and Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 5 years of experience in quality control for machined partsSkilled in operating Haas CNC and programming in Fusion 360 or MasterCam Knowledge of AS9100 Aerospace Standards is a plus Ability to read and interpret GD&T and engineering drawingsBenefits and Perks:Pay range: $32.00 – $38.00/hour, based on experienceWeekly PayMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with company matchOpportunities for training, development, and long-term advancementYour New Organization:You’ll be part of a respected, high-end machine shop in Solon, OH, known for its low-volume, high-complexity parts serving aerospace, medical, and defense industries.
