Job Title: CNC MachinistJob Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate 3 and 5 axis CNC Mills for machining seals and gaskets used in the oil and gas industries. The role involves performing quality checks on parts using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges. You will work on Mazak Integrex CNC machines and handle setups, offsets, and tool changes.

Work Environment

The position is in a high-volume machining environment with over 150 CNC machinists working across all shifts. The facility is clean, well-organized, and operates under lean principles. You will be part of a team with 20 employees on the floor at all times. There are three openings on Weekend A shift, which runs from Friday to Sunday one week and Thursday to Sunday the next, from 4:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Initial training will occur on the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with flexibility required for training on a different shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kalamazoo, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $29.00/hr.
