Job Summary:
Operator sets up machinery to produce product to company specification by following prints and shop orders or other specification that may be needed on Fanuc control Mills and or Lathes.
Hourly range: $23.52 – $25.96
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Selects correct machine to properly fabricate parts.Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.Programs CNC machines to produce product a PLUS.Lays out or details layout on fabricated piece from prints or templates.Positions work piece manually in & out of machineStarts & deactivates machine as needed.Continually checks work to verify dimensions of fabricated product.Checks fabrication run and counts to verify completion or in process of shop order.Uses data collection terminal to accurately input shop order into the system.Uses die grinder to remove any burrs.Uses fork truck or push cart to deliver product to desired location.Uses proper PPE.Other duties as assignedEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GEDTwo to three years of related experience and/or training preferred.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Basic math, tape measure, and Fractions & decimals knowledge preferredAbility to read micrometersCompany Benefits:
