We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate and maintain our CNC machines. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming, setup, and operation of CNC lathes and mills. You will work with a variety of materials to produce high-quality, precision parts according to exact specifications. Additionally, maintaining machine efficiency and effectiveness will be a key responsibility.
ResponsibilitiesSetup and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts to exact specifications.Use precision measuring tools to ensure that finished parts meet quality standards.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines as needed.Maintain and repair CNC machines to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively.Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve production processes and efficiency.Complete all required paperwork and documentation for each job.Ensure a clean and organized working environment.Essential SkillsExperience with CNC machine operation, including CNC machining, CNC milling, and CNC lathing.Ability to setup and operate 3-axis and 5-axis lathes, as well as horizontal mills.Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with 4 3-axis lathe spots and 1 horizontal mill.Experience with 3 5-axis lathe.Why Work Here?Join a company that values continuous improvement and offers a professional work environment. Work EnvironmentYou will work in a climate-controlled environment with 12-hour shifts starting in July/August, mainly overnight but also with some first shifts. Standard working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The position requires flexibility with shift timings.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
