**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team and contribute to the fabrication and machining of low-volume specialty parts for engineered products. The ideal candidate will work independently and collaboratively with engineers and designers to ensure precision and quality. **Responsibilities** + Operate CNC milling machines, manual mills (Bridgeport), and manual engine lathes. + Machine, fabricate, and assist with sub-assembly of low-volume specialty parts. + Work independently from engineering drawings, blueprints, and sketches to hold close tolerances. + Collaborate with engineers and designers on fixture setup, tooling choices, manufacturability, and prototype iterations. + Use precision measurement tools to verify quality and maintain dimensional accuracy. + Work with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and various plastics. + Maintain a clean and organized shop environment and follow safety and quality procedures. + Participate in integrating new machining equipment as capabilities expand. **Essential Skills** + 3–5 years of machining or manufacturing experience preferred. + Proficiency with manual lathes, drill presses, and manual milling machines. + Experience working with Quality Control, precision measurement tools, and inspection methods. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and tolerancing requirements. + Strong communication skills and familiarity with MS Excel / MS Word. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + CNC experience is helpful but not required — training provided. + Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and in small engineering teams. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a full-time, 40-hour work week with some scheduling flexibility and competitive compensation based on experience.
