**Job Title: Machinist** Job Description We are seeking a skilled machinist to set up, operate, and edit programs on CNC Mills. The ideal candidate should possess experience running Horizontal and Vertical Machining Centers, with an ability to machine parts from customer prints with tight tolerances. This role involves setting up machines, performing light edits, and inspecting parts at the end of fabrication. Experience with calipers, micrometers, and gauges is essential, along with a strong attendance record. Responsibilities + Set up and operate CNC Mill or Lathe. + Perform light edits on machinery as needed. + Run and manage Horizontal and Vertical Machining Centers. + Ensure machine parts meet tight tolerances between +/- 0.001 and 0.002 inch. + Inspect fabricated parts and ensure they meet customer specifications. + Document processes and maintain accurate records as a contract manufacturer. Essential Skills + Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes. + Experience with G code and Mastercam. + Ability to work independently and handle own machine. + Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and gauges. + Strong attendance record and reliability. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of 4th axis is a plus. + Experience with Okuma, Kitamura, and Haas machinery. + Ability to work with tooling and live tooling. Why Work Here?
