**Job Title: CNC Machinist** Job Description As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our production team by setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to ensure accurate and high-quality output. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining our reputation for excellence in manufacturing. Responsibilities + Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications. + Set up CNC machines with the correct tools and attachments. + Assist in programming and operating the machines to ensure accurate production. + Monitor machine operations to detect errors or issues. + Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. + Perform routine maintenance on the machines. + Collaborate with engineers and team members to optimize production. Essential Skills + Minimum of 2 years machinist experience. + Experience with press fits, a method of joining two parts with tight frictional fit. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop layouts. + Experience working with very close tolerances such as 2/10ths. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Mechanical aptitude. + Knowledge of programs like CAD/CAM. + Experience in assembly, inspection, drill press operation, grinding, and machining. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Hopewell Junction, New York. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
