**Job Title: CNC Machinist** Job Description We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team and contribute to the manufacturing of high-quality aerospace parts. You will be working with a variety of materials and machines to produce precision components. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities + Machine a wide variety of parts, ranging in size from 1 inch to 10 inches, including pistons and cylinders. + Maintain tight tolerances, working primarily with stainless and mild steel, with some titanium and aluminum. + Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, hobs, and precision grinders. + Use machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments to perform standard shop computations. + Operate both manual and numerically controlled machines, utilizing G code language and DNC control software like Predator. + Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical processes or VIP. + Prepare machines for production by inspecting parts for malfunctions and troubleshooting as needed. + Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls, utilizing knowledge of machine instrumentation. + Meet production deadlines by following manufacturing schedules and resolving production issues.
