**Job Title: Lead Machinist - 2nd Shift** Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Machinist to operate CNC machinery safely and accurately for a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong mechanical aptitude, and work with precision and concentration. This position requires adherence to all safety guidelines and is for the 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities + Prepare and operate CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, and milling. + Understand specifications by reading engineering drawings and other documentation. + Load raw materials and parts onto machines and prepare for a test run. + Monitor machines during operation and make necessary adjustments for quality output. + Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications. + Perform daily inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure functionality. Essential Skills + Proven experience as a CNC operator with skills in CNC machinery and tooling. + Proficiency in using precision measurement tools. + Ability to read and interpret mechanical/engineering documents and drawings. + Strong mechanical aptitude, good math skills, and a keen eye for detail. + Effective communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate or diploma from a CNC machining school, technical college, or relevant discipline is a plus. + Must be reliable with perfect attendance.
