**Job Title: Vertical CNC Operator** Job Description We are seeking a skilled Vertical CNC Operator to join our team. This position requires operating CNC machinery efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards. The role involves working on the 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 4pm to 12:30am. Responsibilities + Utilize ERP software for data collection and logging time. + Interpret work orders, flow sheets, and part drawings to determine job specifications. + Inspect blueprint dimensions using manual inspection equipment. + Load, verify, and make basic fixtures. + Select and prepare materials from staging area, ensuring accuracy to WOPAC. + Set up 3-axis mills and basic 2-axis lathe work. + Follow safety and quality system requirements. + Upload and download programs from the programmer to the machine. + Perform precision alignment and inspections during production runs. + Maintain cleanliness of work area and machinery, practicing 5S principles. + Conduct daily and monthly preventative maintenance on machines. + Communicate effectively to ensure successful job completion. + Submit first article and final inspections to Quality Assurance. + Complete any additional tasks as directed. Essential Skills + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Basic knowledge of ERP software. + 3-5 years of experience or CNC certification plus 1-2 years of experience in CNC Machining. + Proficiency in blueprint reading and using manual inspection gauges. + Ability to edit and write CNC programs. + Basic math skills with preferred knowledge of trigonometry.
