Job Title: CNC Machinist, 2nd shift, 3 Day Weekend

Job Description

As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in operating mill and lathe CNC machines to manufacture custom parts according to precise print specifications. This position requires attention to detail and technical expertise in machining parts from materials such as metal and stainless steel.

Responsibilities

Run mill and lathe CNC machines to produce custom parts.Set up CNC machines and edit programs as needed.Adjust machine speeds and feeds to ensure optimal performance.Machining parts with tight tolerances, ranging from 5 microns to 0.1 millimeters.Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Perform basic maintenance on CNC machines.Conduct tooling changes and perform 2-5 set-ups per shift.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 2 years CNC machining experience.Experience in machine setup.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Proficiency in the metric system and shop math.Knowledge of program editing, speed and feed adjustments, and setting offsets.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, temperature-controlled environment at a facility that produces custom machines. This second shift position operates Monday through Thursday, with standard hours from 3:30 pm to 1:30 am, and occasionally extends to 12-hour shifts from 3:30 pm to 3:30 am.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $70720.00/yr.
