**Job Title: CNC/Manual Machinist**
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CNC/Manual Machinist to join our team in an ASME Pressure Vessel shop. This role is for a swing-shift position and requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
+ Operate CNC and manual machines, including high-speed drills and large vertical lathes, using the Fanuc interface.
+ Understand and apply knowledge of feeds, speeds, high-speed tooling, and insert selection.
+ Sharpen drills and tooling as needed.
+ Use precision measuring devices with mastery.
+ Read and interpret blueprints proficiently and accurately.
+ Safely operate overhead bridge cranes and perform rigging.
+ Lift and carry up to 50lbs and work standing for 10-12 hour shifts.
+ Participate in occasional, voluntary overtime to meet schedule obligations.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of three years' experience in CNC and manual machining.
+ Proficient in reading blueprints.
+ Experience with CNC machines, specifically with high-speed drills using the Fanuc interface.
+ Experience in manual machining, particularly with large vertical lathes and radial drill presses.
+ Knowledge and experience with overhead bridge cranes and rigging.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Own tools required.
+ Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.
+ Experience in a machine shop for at least 3 years is required.
+ Minimum 1 year of CNC experience is required.

Work Environment
The work location is in-person at a very industrial fabrication facility. The facility features a large hangar-type shop floor with several overhead cranes. The environment can be dynamic, noisy, and at times, smoky or dusty. Employees are encouraged to work safely and with attention to detail.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newberg, Oregon.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
