CNC Machinist
Job Title: Machinist Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist Technician with experience in operating mills and lathes. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in programming at the machine using conversational methods without the need for programming from scratch.

ResponsibilitiesStart machines and position workpieces and tooling securely.Run machines efficiently and perform minor repairs as needed.Conduct minor preventive maintenance tasks.Detect, contain, and resolve any defects in the machining process.Perform offsets, deburring, and changeovers efficiently.Utilize blueprints and basic hand tools for machine operation.Program using G code at the machine and perform more than basic conversational program edits.Essential SkillsExperience with CNC operations, including mills and lathes.Proficiency in G code and M code programming.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Knowledge of CAD and CAD/CAM systems.Experience in preventive maintenance and machine setup.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in production CNC, CAM, and packaging.Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, depth gauges, and go/no go gauges.Understanding of GMP, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies.Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, very clean, and highly automated facility. The position operates on the 1st shift from 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM. We offer a structured environment that fosters both personal and professional development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
