Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. You will primarily work with Mazak CNC machines, including Laser and Plasma machines, to ensure efficient and accurate operations.

ResponsibilitiesOperate Mazak CNC Laser and Plasma machines.Perform daily machine start-up and shutdown procedures.Conduct routine maintenance on Laser and Plasma machines, including optical alignment and beam focus adjustments.Diagnose and resolve cut quality issues.Monitor assist gas pressures and manage gas inventory.Stage raw materials for processing.Maintain daily dust collector service and perform routine maintenance on the filter system.Program CNC machines as required.Assist other CNC operators with duties such as area housekeeping and material staging.Complete other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.Essential Skills1+ year of experience operating CNC Fiber Laser and CNC Plasma cutting machines.Experience with HAAS CNC Machine.Proficiency in reading and following verbal and written instructions.Working knowledge or ability to learn NC code.Excellent troubleshooting and programming skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.Excellent attendance record.Physical ability to lift and pull up to 50 lbs.Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a production shop that is spacious and clean, though it is not climate-controlled. Temperatures will vary with the weather, so appropriate clothing is recommended. Steel-toed boots are required for safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Grange, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
