**Job Title: CNC Set Up and Machinist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team, responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills or lathes for short runs, typically no more than 25 parts. The role involves reading blueprints to determine part specifications and machine operation requirements, changing tools, making minor adjustments to programs as needed, inspecting products with precision measuring tools, and performing preventative maintenance on machinery.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes for short runs.
+ Read blueprints to determine part specifications and machine operation requirements.
+ Change tools and make minor adjustments to programs as needed.
+ Inspect products using micrometers, calipers, and other gauges.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2 years of CNC setup experience.
+ Experience performing multiple setups per day.
+ 2 years of blueprint reading experience.
+ 2 years of experience with micrometers and calipers.
+ 1 year of experience changing tools.
+ Knowledge of lathe and mill operations.
+ Experience with Fanuc controls.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ G&M code knowledge is a plus.
+ Experience with multiple setups daily or job shop experience is a plus.

**Work Environment**
The role is based in a machine shop and assembly shop environment on the 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Our team consists of 250 employees in the U.S., primarily in Racine, with a small plant in Texas, and 350 employees outside of the U.S. We manufacture products for diverse industries including oil and gas, agriculture, industrial, marine, and hybrid customers. Training will occur on the 1st shift for 6-9 months before transitioning to the 2nd shift, with a shift premium provided during training.

This is a Permanent position based out of Racine, Wisconsin.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $52956.00 - $76627.00/yr.
