**CNC Machinist** $30-$40/hr | Indianapolis, IN **Responsibilities** + Perform various setups using boring soft/hard jaws or collet chucks. + Read blueprints and job routers to obtain product specifications, including dimensions and tolerances from .0005" to .005". + Machine stainless and high-temperature alloys like HastX, Inconel, and 17-4. + Set speeds, feeds, and depths of cut according to material specifications. + Use appropriate measuring tools and devices, including bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, and pins. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of machining experience in an R&D manufacturing environment. + Proficiency in G & M code programming: Mastercam/NX. + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. + Knowledge of capabilities and limitations on all conventional/CNC machines and welding equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Aerospace industry experience preferred. + Experience with Mastercam programming, blueprint reading, and CNC programming. + Familiarity with Solidworks, Autocad, and tooling. **Why Work Here?** + Enjoy paid vacation and sick time, with 90% employer-paid health benefits through Cigna. + Benefit from monthly employer-paid health savings account contributions, short-term disability, and life insurance. + Additional dental, vision, and accident insurance options are available. + Participate in the 401k plan with company match, fostering a secure financial future. **Work Environment** + Work in a climate-controlled machine shop equipped with new machinery, ensuring a clean and comfortable setting. + The first shift operates Monday to Friday, starting between 6-8am, while the second shift begins at 4pm and includes a shift premium of 10% of the hourly rate. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
