**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist who is experienced in setting up, operating, and editing programs on CNC machinery. The ideal candidate will have proficiency with Vertical Turning Centers and CNC Lathes, and the ability to perform editing on CNC programs using G and M codes. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate CNC machinery efficiently. + Edit and program CNC coding using G and M codes as needed. + Read and interpret blueprints accurately. + Machine parts to precise specifications using lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in CNC programming and machining. + Experience with Vertical Turning Centers and CNC Lathes. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Familiarity with using calipers and micrometers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work on 1st or 2nd shift. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a direct placement opportunity into the union with excellent benefits and ample room for career growth. **Work Environment** Candidates must be open to working shifts between 1, 2, and 3. This is a Union environment that offers a high starting pay rate, and Four different health plans through Highmark.
