Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to perform G&M code edits, setups, tool changes, and manual machining on industrial pumps. This role involves both CNC and manual machining tasks, with a focus on precision and efficiency. Candidates will work with CNC machines, including mills and Bridgeport machines, executing necessary G&M code edits without needing to program from scratch.
ResponsibilitiesPerform CNC machining and manual machining on industrial pumps.Execute setups and tool changes with precision.Conduct G&M code edits as required.Read and interpret blueprints accurately.Adjust and change tooling according to job specifications.Set tool length offsets and part offsets to required specifications up to .0001.Load programs into machines and make minor G&M edits as needed.Essential Skills2+ years of CNC milling experience.Ability to adjust and change tooling for specified jobs.Experience in setting tool length offsets and part offsets.Proficiency in loading programs and making minor G&M edits.2+ years of manual machining experience, preferably with Bridgeport machines.Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Fadal and Samsung CNC machines.Experience in writing and editing Mastercam/WorkNC programs.Machining experience with steel.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is industrial and non-climate controlled. The role involves working the first shift from 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Saturday, with half days on Saturdays.

This is a Contract position based out of Oak Park, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
