**CNC Machinist** **Responsibilities** + Set up and prepare CNC machines for operation, including loading and securing materials, tools, and fixtures. + Load and unload workpieces into the CNC machine using hoists, cranes, or other lifting equipment. + Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications. + Monitor and adjust machine settings, tool offsets, and workpiece positions to maintain quality standards and achieve desired results. + Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process, such as tool wear, machine malfunctions, or dimensional deviations. + Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity. + Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of experience required for this position. + Ability to read basic G & M code programs and perform program edits + Experience with CNC mills and CNC lathes. + Experience with 3-6 axis CNC machines. + Ability to interpret blueprints and perform quality inspections on machined parts. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortability with Aerospace experience is a major plus. + Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, and tooling equipment. + Experience in lathe setup and machining. + Knowledge of micrometers, calipers, and inspection techniques. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $66560.00/yr.
