**CNC Machinist** **Shift: 2nd** **Pay: up to $32 ($2 Shift Premium)** **Job Description** We are seeking Skilled Machinist with well-rounded skills in operating Mills, Lathes, and Grinders with machine set up experience. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate CNC machining centers + Begin in the Gear grinding department and transition based on work demands. + Read and interpret blueprints, tooling instructions, and work instructions. + Adaptability to work in various departments as needed. + Responsible for documentation and quality inspection. + Calculate dimensions, rotation speeds, feed rates, and machining times. + Collaborate with supervisors, programmers, engineers, and support teams to resolve issues. + Rotate between different department work centers as required. + Load and unload component piece parts weighing up to 25 lbs. + Utilize shop math skills effectively. **Essential Skills** + At least 4+ years of Machining experience. + 2+ years of CNC set up experience + Ability to perform quality inspections. + Proficiency in reading blueprints and basic shop math skills. + High school diploma or GED. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + CNC set up experience is a plus. + CNC schooling or certification is desirable. + Medical + Dental + Vision + 401k program + Overtime available **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
