**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** Join a dynamic team specializing in the production of gear boxes for a variety of industries including logistics, food and beverage, and bulk material handling. As a CNC Machinist, you will work with state-of-the-art equipment to produce parts for conveyors of various sizes. **Responsibilities** + Perform set-ups and operate different CNC mills and lathes. + Edit G&M code at the machine to ensure precise production. + Conduct first and last piece quality inspections to maintain high standards. + Work from technical prints to guide machining tasks. + Utilize micrometers and calipers for accurate measurements. + On the Vertical Mill: Conduct set-ups using Okuma and Fanuc controls, handling mostly plate parts ranging from 4 inches to 26 inches in size and ½ to 2.5 inches in thickness. + On the CNC Lathe: Handle shaft work using Siemens controls, perform set-ups, and make tooling changes. **Essential Skills** + Experience with CNC machining, including lathe and mill operations. + Proficiency in setup and operation of CNC equipment with 2 years of experience. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints for machining tasks. + Skilled in using micrometers and calipers for accurate measurements. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with DMG and Siemens controls is a plus. + Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail. + Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a competitive shift premium for the 2nd shift, along with quarterly bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
