Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our team for both day and overnight shifts. This role involves serving the aerospace and medical industries with precision. You will be responsible for performing setups, running and troubleshooting machinery, maintaining tight tolerances, and inspecting all products. Strong communication with our engineering team and adaptability to customer demands are crucial. Looking for candidates with CNC milling experience.

ResponsibilitiesPerform complex setups and operations on CNC Mill or Lathe machines.Troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues.Hold tight tolerances, ensuring accuracy to within +/- thousandths of an inch.Inspect products using micrometers and calipers.Complete necessary paperwork and maintain safety regulations.Report defective materials or processes.Communicate consistently with the engineering team.Adapt to changing customer demands and requirements.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2+ years of experience with CNC Milling or Lathe.Experience with Swiss Machinery is highly advantageous.Proficiency in running and setting up CNC Mill or Lathe.Ability to work with aluminum or stainless steel.Experience in troubleshooting machinery.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Swiss Machinery.Ability to perform light edits and zero out a machine.ITAR compliance Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our facility is extremely clean and well-lit, offering a comfortable work environment. Some areas of the shop are louder, while others are quieter. Day Shift runs from 6:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Overnight Shift operates from 5:00pm to 6:00am, Monday through Thursday, with a shift differential.

This is a Permanent position based out of Agawam, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $72800.00/yr.
