Job Description
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating manual, automatic, and semi-automatic NC machine tools along with CNC machining equipment to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations, meeting close tolerance and finish requirements using mills and lathes. You will handle setups, routine program checks, troubleshooting at the machine, and quality checks on parts and equipment using calipers and micrometers.
ResponsibilitiesOperate manual, automatic, or semi-automatic NC machine tools and CNC machining equipment.Perform setups 1-3 times per day.Check routine programs and troubleshoot at the machine.Conduct quality checks on parts and equipment using calipers and micrometers.Essential SkillsExperience with micrometers and calipers.Ability to set up and operate mills and lathes.2+ years of machining experience on mills or lathes.Experience running a mill or lathe.Proficiency in measuring parts, adjusting offsets, setups, and running the machine.Additional Skills & QualificationsBackground in CNC machining on wood or stone is advantageous.Proficiency in programming and interpreting blueprints.Why Work Here

Work Environment
Work during the 1st Shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with flexibility available. Experience a family feel in a laid-back environment with low turnover. The shop is clean, well-lit, and does not require heavy lifting. Enjoy minimal overtime, eligible after a couple of months, generally on Fridays or Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $59000.00/yr.
