Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate a variety of CNC machines including mills, lathes, lasers, drill presses, and press brakes. The role involves producing high-precision components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring machining processes are optimized for quality and efficiency, and collaborating with aerospace and defense clients on projects requiring tight tolerances ranging from +/-0.005 in to +/-0.001 in.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines such as mills, lathes, lasers, drill presses, and press brakes.Produce high-precision components based on engineering drawings and specifications.Optimize machining processes to ensure quality and efficiency.Work with aerospace and defense clients, adhering to tight tolerances of +/-0.005 in to +/-0.001 in.Utilize Mastercam and Unigraphics for programming.Program machines using G-code and M-code.Work primarily with 3-axis high-speed linear mills, 4-axis vertical mills, and 5-axis mills.Essential SkillsProficiency in CNC mill setup and operation.Experience with machining and lathe operations.Familiarity with aerospace and blueprint specifications.Skill in using Mastercam and Unigraphics software.Understanding of G-code and M-code programming.Additional Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience in setting up and operating CNC mills.Why Work Here

Work Environment
The machine shop is split between two buildings, one 80,000 sq ft and the other a brand new 90,000 sq ft facility. With approximately 200 employees, we are a growing team. The environment is climate controlled and very clean for a machine shop. We primarily support Aerospace and Defense customers. Flexible shifts are available, with typical hours from 5am to 5pm for the first shift.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
