**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** This role involves setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, specifically Haas and Mazak brands, with a focus on the Mori Horizontal Mill. The position requires performing first and last piece inspection using precision measuring tools, working from prints, and editing G&M code directly at the machine. The work ranges from 5-minute runs to 3-hour cycles and involves handling parts from 5 to 1200 in quantity. Lifting up to 50 pounds is required, and larger items will be managed using a crane. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, focusing on Haas and Mazak brands. + Perform inspections using precision measuring tools. + Work from technical prints and edit G&M code at the machine. + Handle runs from 5 minutes to 3 hours and part quantities from 5 to 1200. + Lift items up to 50 pounds, utilizing a crane for larger items. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in CNC setup and operation with a minimum of 1 year experience. + Ability to use calipers and micrometers. + Skills in programming and inspection. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum of 2 years experience in running CNC mills and lathes. + Experience in editing G&M code. **Why Work Here?** The shop offers a direct hire position in a relaxed and family-oriented environment with a positive culture.
