**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** This position is a 1st shift CNC Operator role, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Overtime is available if necessary, but not exceeding 8 hours on Fridays. The role involves setting up and running manual Bridgeport Machines and Manual Vertical Turret Lathes, performing quality checks, reading blueprints, and modifying fixtures in a remanufacturing environment. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate manual Bridgeport Machines and Manual Vertical Turret Lathes. + Perform quality checks on machined parts. + Read blueprints and modify fixtures as needed. + Machine metal and parts from broken valves and other components. + Collaborate with a team of machinists and welders. **Essential Skills** + 5-10 years of machining experience with the ability to set up and operate machines. + Minimum 3 years of experience running CNC Machines. + Minimum 3 years of experience performing quality checks on parts. + Ability to multitask and work in a team-oriented environment. + Possession of personal tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Manual Machining, Manual Lathe, and Manual Mill. + Journeyman certification. + Knowledge of Vertical Turret Lathe, Mazak, and Okuma Mills and lathes. + Proficiency in reading blueprints. + Troubleshooting and mechanical skills. **Work Environment** This role is situated in a climate-controlled machine shop within a manufacturing environment.
