Cnc Machinist
**Description** As the CNC Programmer/ Machinist you will be responsible for taking jobs from 3D model or blueprints and produce finished parts. Responsibilities: • Programing, setup tooling, basic inspection and finishing of the parts • Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and material specifications • Program mills, utilizing manual G-Code Programming and CAM systems • Maintains part specifications by adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes • Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements specified by the manufacturer’s instructions. • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership and exploring opportunities to add value to the team **Skills** cnc machine, calipers, micrometer, machining, lathe machine, cnc lathe, gauge, Makino, cnc programming, mastercam, mastercam programming **Additional Skills & Qualifications** Seeking Prototype part experience High precision parts, not volume - will be building custom one off non production parts for Race engine/high performance engines and EV motors Use Makino CNC's in the shop, 3/4/5 AXIS experience (preference to 4/5) Setting tools and fixture's - need to have experience doing this - setting tools on presets Experience with gauges, micrometers, tools for parts quality inspection - high precision, low tolerance parts, think of this as Art for a CNC Machinist **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
